11:45 AM: Enjoy some street shopping at Chinatown
Just few minutes away from Oakland Museum is a different world awaiting you. This is Oakland’s famous Chinatown for you; where hordes of people flock everyday to enjoy street shopping and delicious Chinese food. By this time you’re hunger pangs will certainly get the better of you, we take you to a place that is abound with some fabulous restaurants. And not to forget enticing waterfront view that is going to make your lunch a memorable affair. This is Jack London Square – one of the most celebrated destinations of Oakland city.
Among barrage of fine restaurants here, we’ve chosen three immensely famous restaurants for you. These are Encuentro Cafe and Wine Bar, Yoshi's and Brotzeit Lokal. Step inside any of these fine restaurants and your taste buds will be satiated.
2: 20 PM: Some recreation and outdoor fun at Jack London Square
We did mention that Jack London Square is one of the most happening destinations of Oakland city. Well, the barrage of fine restaurants is one of the reasons that certainly make it one. The other important reasons are its volley of recreational activities and hordes of parties that always keep the mood here very upbeat.

3:50 PM: Enjoy San Francisco Bay Ferry
From merely staring at beautiful waterfront views of San Francisco Bay to exploring it. Well, we’re not talking about swimming here. Rather, we’re talking about San Francisco Bay Ferry ride. A ferry ride that will give you some incredible views of San Francisco.
Weekday and weekend San Francisco Bay Ferry ride is available right at Jack London Square terminals. There is a weekday ferry ride available at 3:50 PM from Jack London Square terminal to San Francisco Building. In case you’re at Jack London Square on weekend, then ferry ride is scheduled at 4: 40 PM for San Francisco Building area.
The ferry ride lasts for roughly half an hour. More or less ride lasts for same hours for return journey from San Francisco Building. During this one hour of ferry ride you’ll come across some stunning views of San Francisco.
6 P.M – Shopping at Oakland City Center
After your hour long ferry ride and after you’ve arrived back at Jack London Square Terminal, it is time again to shuffle around shopping bye lanes. However, unlike street shopping at Chinatown, shopping here is about indulging in a completely different shopping experience. Because now you’re at Oakland City Center – the ultimate shopping, dining and business destination of Oakland city.
Here shopping is certainly more glamorous than Chinatown and also you’ll find more options than Jack London Square. Simply put, here shopping is pure indulgence. The barrage of international and renowned shopping brands that you’ll come across here will simply bamboozle you.
8: 15 PM – New Karibbean City Nightclub
Just stone throw away from Oakland City Center is New Karibbean City Nightclub - one of the most happening night clubs of Oakland city. It’s a place where you can simply bare out all your insanity. Sane things certainly don’t make any sense here; as rocking music will tear your ear buds and all the hard liquors will leave you completely intoxicated.
